If your A/C is not
working, try adjusting settings.
Go to Settings---> Advanced
settings.
You'll need a password
to enter advanced settings, which is 8861.
The very first option in
this menu depending on version of the unit will be "CarTypeSel" or "Car type".
Change your car type. If
you see that CarTypeSel is set to Dodge RAM HI, for example, –
change it to Dodge RAM LO.
The principle is the
same for all units of such type (T-style) – you need to change CarTypeSel (Car type) from
Lo to Hi version or vise versa.
In some versions of
T-style units code name of cars is used in CarTypeSel (Car type) menu - for
example, Toyota Tundra is called "TANTU", Jeep Grand Cherokee is
called "Daquie" and so on.
Don't pay attention to how your car is called in CarTypeSel (Car type) menu, all you
need to do is to find exactly same name in drop down menu with Hi or Lo
configuration.
After choosing car type
reset the unit by pressing RST with a paper clip or Turn off car, wait 10
seconds, open door, close door and then turn on the car.
